1-1.5 lbs of Brussels Sprouts, ends trimmed off and sliced in half
2-3 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp salt (or Mrs. Dash Salt-Free seasoning)
1 tsp garlic powder
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Place trimmed Brussels sprouts, olive oil, garlic powder, salt (or Mrs. Dash), and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix well with large spatula or hand to coat. Spread out onto a nonstick baking sheet, and place on center oven rack. (Optional: on cooking sheet, place layer of tin foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray and place Brussels sprouts on top to make for easier cleaning).
- Roast in the preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes. Shake pan every 10 minutes for even browning. Brussels sprouts should be dark brown and crispy when done.
