Cinnamon Acorn Squash


1 acorn squash (about 1.5 lbs)

1 tsp ground cinnamon 

1/4 tsp ground black pepper (1/4 tsp sea salt optional)

1 Tbsp olive oil

1 Tbsp honey 



1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F

2. Cut squash in half and remove seeds. Cut each half again in half and place on baking sheet with inside facing up. 

3. Lightly brush the olive oil over each squash slice. Sprinkle cinnamon, black pepper, (and optional salt) over each squash slice. Drizzle honey over each slice.

4. Bake in oven for 1 hour or until tender when cut with fork.
