"Hummole" (Guacamole Hummus)


1 Avocado

1 can garbanzo beans 

4 cloves garlic

2 tsp black pepper

2 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp lemon juice

1/4 cup chopped onion

1 whole chopped Roma tomato


1. In a food processor, grind 1 can of well-rinsed and drained garbanzo beans.

2. Transfer to a mixing bowl along with sliced avocado, minced garlic, black pepper, garlic powder, and lemon juice,

3. After well mixed, add chopped onion and tomato. Mix together with spatula and serve with whole wheat pita or tortilla chips.
