Overnight Oats


Overnight oats are simply oats soaked in liquid overnight. You can use any liquid you like, but the most common is equal parts rolled oats to milk. (For example, ½ cup oats, ½ cup milk). You can also add 1/3 cup yogurt for a creamier texture!

The base is oats and liquid. Toppings can include anything from flaxseed, chia seeds, fresh or dried fruit, or nuts. There is NO COOKING involved.


Overnight Oats Recipe

½ cup rolled oats

½ cup lowfat milk or unsweetened almond milk

½ Tbsp chia seeds

2 Tbsp sliced almonds

½ sliced banana

5 sliced strawberries or handful of blueberries


Combine all ingredients together in Tupperware container (banana can be added in the morning to maintain freshness). Store in refrigerator overnight. Stir before eating.
