Avocado Chocolate Mousse


Makes 4-6 servings*

2 small ripe avocados

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips, melted

3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk

1/4 cup 100% maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

Optional, but highly recommended: Add in 2 Tbsp creamy peanut butter for a chocolate peanut butter mousse!


1. Melt dark chocolate chips in microwave safe dish. Let cool for a few minutes before adding to food processor.

2. Combine all above ingredients in food processor and puree until very creamy. Feel free to add more sweetener if desired, or a little more milk if you'd like a thinner, smoother mousse. 

3. Let chill in refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours before enjoying. Spoon into dessert glasses and top with raspberries, pomegranate seeds, or dark chocolate shavings. Enjoy!
